Yes, it is safe through all trimesters of pregnancy and into the postnatal period.
All our remedial therapists are trained in pregnancy massage and will work to find the most comfortable and safe position for your individual needs.
Depending on your gestation, your therapist will discuss with you the position choices you have for your massage and will adjust their massage techniques and pressure accordingly.
However, it is important to gain a medical clearance from your doctor before any massage is indicated within the first trimester, if there is any kind of complications or you are a high-risk client.

How Do You Do the Pregnancy Massage?
At CBR Massage, we do the massage side lying. This is most comfortable for both mum and bub at all stages of the pregnancy. You can have extra support with blankets and pillows for your own level of comfort.
Through side lying, we have you on one side for half the massage then assist you to change positions to the other side so you can have a full body experience!
Pregnancy Massage can be generally any type of massage including Relaxation, Lymphatic Drainage (for moving fluid) and Remedial (for targeted pain areas), providing everything with your pregnancy is going well.
